why don't people leave voicemail anymore?

My iPhone reminded me today that I'm at 94% of my voicemail space and that I need to delete some of my saved voicemails. Sad Day.  I absolutely love all my voicemail! I love getting them and listening to my favorites talk to me.  Plus, voicemail is great since you can listen to it over and over!

Voicemail is one of the absolute best parts of cell phones because you get the chance to leave a message with a personal touch for that person.  Also, who doesn't prefer talking to texting or typing anyway?  Talking accomplishes the most words per minute and allows for much less miscommunication since you can actually hear tone of voice and inflection.  It's such a shame that so many people never leave voicemails these days, or just call and then text if no one answers.  What a lost art :(
